PICR Career Research Achievement Award

The Purdue Institute for Cancer Research (PICR) seeks to recognize strong scientific/scholarly contributions as a result of work completed in their role as a PICR member. For this award, the PICR seeks candidates who have demonstrated a sustained and significant impact on their field and national and international recognition for their work.

Eligibility:  Tenured Full professors are eligible and the nominee must have been on faculty for at least three years prior to the nomination.

Nomination: The nomination must include in the following order:

  • Cover page (template on the second page)
  • Letter of nomination
  • CV
  • Letter of support from one other reference, either another PICR member or a cancer research external to Purdue.
  • If an external reviewer, a one-paragraph description or a website link with the credentials of the external reviewer

 Deadline: Nomination packet can be submitted here as a single PDF file by March 26, 2024.

 Evaluation: The PICR Executive Committee will review the applications.

 Recognition: The awardee will be announced at the Spring Awards Ceremony and will receive a monetary award of $1,000 and a plaque.
